Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is one of the easiest ways for you to achieve a more youthful appearance or brighten your smile.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening treatment has dramatically grown in popularity in recent years. Whitening treatments can give you an almost instantaneous boost and will make your teeth look younger, healthier and more radiant in a very short space of time.

We offer two systems, one is done at home and the Enlighten tooth whitening system is done at home and then you return to the practice to have a final boosting session.

Enlighten Teeth Whitening

Enlighten is widely regarded as one of the worlds best whitening treatments. The system whitens teeth by up to sixteen shades and the results can last for a long time.

The Enlighten system combines at-home treatment with an in-chair session. You wear a custom-made tray, which contains a whitening agent for a period of fourteen days. On the fifteenth day you return to the practice for your in-chair whitening session. The trays are worn at night to limit any disruption to your daily life and the final session only takes an hour.

Enlighten is so popular because the results are incredible – it can lighten the teeth by up to sixteen shades, creating a truly dazzling smile.

Home Teeth Whitening

Our home whitening kit comes with custom made trays for accuracy and comfort of application. Gel is placed in the trays which are then worn ideally over night or for two hours a day.

Our custom designed and manufactured trays are effective at holding the whitening gel exactly where it needs to be to achieve the very best whitening results possible whilst preventing gel from leaking into the mouth. Excellent results are usually achieved in about 2 weeks. Our kits come with enough gel to complete treatment and also to maintain the results for months. Refill gel kits are available to help maintain your smile for years to come.

Which is best for me?

Speak with your dentist. He or she can tell you whether whitening procedures would work for you. Whiteners may not correct all types of discoloration. For example, yellowish teeth will probably bleach well, brownish-colored teeth may bleach less well, and grayish teeth may not bleach well at all. Bleaching may not enhance your smile if you have crowns or tooth-coloured fillings placed in your front teeth. The whitener will not effect the colour of these materials, and they will stand out in your newly whitened smile. In these cases, you may want to investigate other options, like porcelain veneers or white crowns.
